BIRDS VS HUMAN BEINGS
**************************** Once upon a time a flock of pigeons dwelt gleefully and peacefully on the mansard of an ancient temple.With the advent of the annual festival,the renovation of the temple was launched.So the pig eons fluttered to live on the canopy of a church.The pigeons who were already dwelling in the church welcomed the new entrants with open heart.
When the Christmas came,the church had to be given a refurb.All the pigeons flew away and took shelter on the cupola of a mosque.The pigeons who were already in the mosque heartily accommodated the new comers.
Then came the Ramadan time.The repainting of the mosque was started.So the flock of the pigeons moved to the temple which now had been refurbished.
One day the communal clashes broke out.A baby pigeon cooed to his mother pigeon,
"Who are these people?"
The mother pigeon responded,"They are human beings."
The inquisitive baby poked,"But why are they wrangling with each other?"
The mother pigeon explained,"The human being going to temple are called"Hindu."The people visiting church are called "Christan"and the people flocking to mosque are named"Muslims."
The flummoxed baby murmured,”Why is it so? When we were in the temple,we were called pigeons.When we resided in the church and mosque,we continued to be called pigeons.Similarly they ought to be called human beings wherever they go ".
The mother pigeon cooed,"We and our pigeon friends have experienced God and that is why we are living here in a highly elevated dwelling peacefully.These human beings are yet to experience God .Hence they have to reside below us and fighting and butchering each other."
