In troubled waters

Whenever I fell in troubled waters, I repeated the following lines standing before a mirror. This gave me strength to take the bull by horns-
I will persist until I succeed. I was not delivered to this world in defeat, nor does failures course my veins, I am not a sheep waiting to be prodded by my shepered.I am a lion and I refuse to talk, to walk, to sleep with the sheep. The slaughter house of failure is not my destiny. I will persist until I succeed.

what is lotted can not be blotted

From time immemorial, people have beennurturing a devout belief in the dictum,"what is lotted can not be blotted".It is strongly believed that entire happenings, whether good or bad,in a mans life are governed by the invincible and invisible power known as FATE.Even great Napoleon, too, believed in luck.Qnce when his key advisers recommended the name of a particular general to lead his troops in a crucial battle, he asked with doubt,"Is he lucky?" Fatalists consider man a puppet in the hands of fate. They firmly believe that there is something beyond thehuman soul.Whatever happens in the universe, happens according toHis will.Dolls can not dance whithout him who holds the strings. The activities and achievements are governed by the wheels of fortune.    Luck is undeniably, totally responsible for a mans mighty successes or dismal failures. It is maddeningly capricious. It can not be anticipated where it will strike or where it will not.
Let us takethe case of late sri Rajiv Gandhi.Politics was definitely not his cup of tea. He kept himself sequestered from  the whirpool of politics and  he made his career in flying the planes. But fate ordained it otherwise. He had to join politics and deplorably enough, got assassinated solely due to politics. Vice-versa was the case with his younger brother ,late sri sanjay gandhi. He was an ardent politician but died due to flying plane. Was not the fate responsible in both the cases? The case of late P.V. Narsimha Rao is well known. He was fated to be the prime minister of India. He headed the government for full term inspite of frequent emergence of carps and cavils, scams and scandles.
