THE VAINGLORIOUS GOLDFISH

Once upon a time there was a cool pool in a certain village.A ranid and a goldfish dwelt in that pool. While the fish was as exquisite as a peacock, the ranid was as ugly as sin.His body was chock-a-block with sinful warts.
The goldfish had a nasty habit of rodomontading about her beauty all the time.She would make fun of the warty ranid and hurl inelegant pokes at him for being so disgusting and ugly.
One day the goldfish,flaunting her wispy tail,blurted out to ranid,"O warty ranid,don't you realise how stunningly beautiful I am?"
The ranid kept mum.
"I can comprehend your stony silence.You are ashamed of your ugliness.You envy me for being the prettiest creature in the whole universe."Gloated the goldfish.
The ranid kept his mouth closed.
The fish burst into loud guffaws. Just then,a lurking crane swooped down on the fish .He grabbed the fish by his talons and soared high in the sky.This time the ranid bubbled,
"GOOD BYE!"

MORAL:--
1) PRIDE GOETH BEFORE A FALL.
2) NEVER MAKE FUN OF THE IMPERFECTIONS OF OTHERS.NO ONE IS PERFECT !!
