Once upon a time there lived in a certain village a boy and a girl. Their shanties were side by side and they were fast friends.They would play together and spent most of the time together.
One day while going to the field to play,the boy toted his prized collection of beautiful marbles and the girl schlepped some sweets.
while playing the boy mooted an idea,"Let us exchange our possessions.I will give you my marbles and you give me your sweets."
THE girl readily assented to the idea.
The boy being disingenuous,surreptitiously camouflaged the biggest and prettiest marble and gave the rest to the girl.The girl parted with all her sweets.When the dusk set in,both vamoosed for their hogans.
At night,while the girl slumbered peacefully,the boy could not enjoy even a wink of sleep as he had kept wondering if the girl had concealed some sweets from him the way he had secreted his best marble.
